Kitchen Backsplash Tile Designs

Backsplash is typically placed between the countertops and cabinets. Here, we will be talking about tile backsplash. Most people prefer tile for their kitchen in relation to backsplash, and for good reason. With tile, you have a large selection of design to choose from and the possibilities are endless. You can mix up the color as much as you would like, and as long as you like it, that is all that counts. There are several kitchen backsplash tile designs to choose from. Here are a couple of ideas to help get you started:

1. Simplicity with a hint of pizazz is always a great way to play it safe, especially if you are trying to avoid overdoing it. Sometimes, people tend to get carried away with all of the color and design and end up with too much of one thing. A great idea of keeping it simple would be to add plain off-white tile with one peacock feather pattern design for every 6 to 7 pieces of tile. You might even want to add a mural of a peacock as your centerpiece.

2. Another great idea for kitchen backsplash tile designs would be to use black and white in a diagonal pattern. Instead of placing your custom tile in the traditional, horizontal fashion, you can choose to be different. Black and white will always remain a classic design for any kitchen. You could add a mural as well if you would like of a cow or apple. An old-fashioned kitchen would look great with this type of design.

3. You could also go with a stainless steel tile or copper tile if you want a more modern looking kitchen. You might choose to mix it up by using both or alternate with a decorative tile for a unique look. There are a lot of decorative kitchen backsplash tile designs to choose from, so finding the right one to alternate with shouldn’t be a difficult task.

4. If you are quite creative, you might want to think about designing your own tile. In order to do this, you would need to purchase either white, black, or some other solid color. Then, all you would have to do is to add some paint and go to work on your design. A good idea would be to paint your tile so that it matches the rest of your kitchen and theme. Doing it yourself is by far one of the more creative ways, and it is much more affordable as well.

5. There is also coffee bean backsplash design that is available for your kitchen. Coffee bean is a combination of browns, silvers, reds, and blacks. This is typically a very small type of tile, usually no more than 1 1/2 inches in width and length. You can also find other color combinations by using the same type of tile size because it always turns out looking superb.

Remember that there are all kinds of kitchen backsplash tile designs out there to choose from. There are solid color, glass, marble, and decorative tile designs. The ideas are limitless when it comes to your kitchen.
